​These terms govern the purchase of Alcove Pods office pods and the use of www.alcove.works. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms.

1. All Sales are Final
Office pod purchases are final and non-refundable. As with a vehicle purchase, once an order is placed and confirmed by Alcove Pods, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded — including in the event of changes to buyer requirements, project timelines, or office plans. Each pod is built and prepared for the buyer's specific configuration, and production begins on order confirmation.

Order confirmation is binding. Buyer acknowledges that placing an order commits the buyer to the full purchase price under the payment schedule below.

2. Payment Terms
Deposit: 50% of purchase price, due on order placement.
Pre-installation balance: remaining 50%, due no later than 48 hours before the scheduled installation date.

Alcove Pods will coordinate the installation schedule and final payment timing with the buyer well in advance of the install date. Pods will not ship or be installed without full payment received. Late payment may delay installation; rescheduling is at Alcove Pods' discretion and subject to technician and logistics availability.

3. First-week Part Replacement

Within the first seven (7) days following installation, Alcove Pods will replace any part of the pod that is not functional, at no cost to the buyer. This coverage is automatic on every pod purchase, regardless of warranty tier. It excludes physical damage caused by buyer or third-party negligence during install or move-in. Full first-week coverage is described in the Pod Care section.

 

4. Defect Assessment and Remedies

Alcove Pods will assess all reported defects at our sole discretion, using our diagnostic protocols and authorized technical partners. Remedies — including parts shipment, repair, replacement, technician dispatch, or other corrective action — are determined by Alcove Pods per the Pod Care plan in effect for the buyer's pod fleet. The buyer agrees to provide reasonable access and information to enable diagnosis and resolution.

5. Pod Care Plans & Warranty

Every pod purchase comes with Pod Care Standard included for Year 1. Buyers may upgrade to Pod Care Premium at purchase, or at any anniversary thereafter. Warranty scope, duration, preventive maintenance cadence, and remedies are governed by the Pod Care plan summary at www.alcove.works/pod-care and the warranty document supplied with each purchase. In the event of conflict between this T&C page and the Pod Care plan, the Pod Care plan controls for warranty, service, and remedy matters.

 

6. Installation

Installation is sold separately as a flat-rate per-pod fee:

• Pods under $10,000 retail: $1,500 per pod.

• Pods $10,000 and above retail: $2,500 per pod.

 

Multi-pod discounts may be available depending on order size, site logistics, and on-site complexity. Site readiness (power, clearance, access) is the buyer's responsibility.

7. Use of Website

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this website.

Permitted use: You may use the website for lawful purposes only.

Prohibited use: You agree not to use the website (a) in violation of applicable laws, (b) to transmit unsolicited promotional material, (c) to impersonate Alcove Pods or any other entity, or (d) to engage in conduct that restricts another person's use of the website.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photography, product imagery, and software — is the property of Alcove Pods or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

 

9. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy at www.alcove.works/privacy-policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

 

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The website and Alcove Pods products are provided 'as is' subject only to the express warranties set out in the Pod Care plan. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alcove Pods will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or the pods. Liability for any direct damages is capped at the purchase price of the affected pod or service.

 

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alcove Pods and its affiliates from any claims arising out of your use of the website or violation of these Terms.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be exclusively submitted to the courts in Santa Clara County, California.

 

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
